Events Management
Attitude to Work
Each project that I am involved in gives me a chance to demonstrate and expand my skill set. I like to brainstorm and review all avenues of a project before any decisions are made. I believe that in order to get the most success out of an endeavour, those involved need to be highly creative, open minded and experimental yet in control and organised.
In every project I undertake, I always strive for the satisfaction of attendees. It is a gratifying feeling to know that your event has assisted somebody in creating a fond memory. I always like to recieve customer feedback, good or bad, as both are beneficial.
Being a highly determined and driven individual, I ensure that I give my best in every task that I undertake. My main aim when working on event projects is to reframe from disappointing any stakeholder involved. I believe in delivering what was promised and take great pride in the work I produce. I like to dive head first into new projects and would definitely describe myself as a workaholic, especially when I am excited about a project. I am a confident and self sufficient individual, I work well in a team and I am more than willing to put in extra work in areas I am not as experienced in. I like to challenge myself and hope to use my competitiveness as a means to further my career in the future.

Career Ambitions
My time at Falmouth University has provided me with various opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills and helped me to determine the career path in which I am suited. The work experience I have undertaken during my time at university has enabled me to demonstrate and to improve

improve certain skills, I have learnt that my strengths lie in marketing, research, organisation and event design.
The areas of event management in which I excell are those that I enjoy. I am highly competent in financial management and legalities although these would not be my first choice of responsibilities when working in an event team. My passion lies in event design and I hope to specialise in this area of event planning eventually during my career.
SHORT TERM AMBITIONS
Currently I am dedicating much of my time and effort into working towards graduating with a first class degree in Creative Events Management. Following my graduation, I hope to land myself a year long graduate scheme specialising in marketing in order to gain some experience and knowledge of how marketing works within a company. Upon completing the graduate scheme I then hope to move to Manchester, Liverpool or Bristol to work for an event company where I can utilise my skills and grow as a professional.
LONG TERM AMBITIONS
After gaining experience and knowledge in working in a business environment I hope to be in the position to apply for jobs that specialise in event design. I will hopefully have built up an impressive portfolio by this point and I am eager to gain a position in an event or wedding planning company which allows me to travel. Eventually I hope to set up my own wedding planning company where I can take all the knowledge and skills I have learnt during my education and career and build a successful business.
